Grinding noise please help!!!

Post by frogsfirehawk » Fri Dec 14, 2012 9:51 am

99 firehawk with 61,000 miles on it. was going down highway in 4th before shifting to 5th it sounded like it popped out of gear and started grinding. Pulled over and it still shifts in gears and as long as I don't use the gas pedal it doesn't grind. What can this be?

Syncros and blocker rings, bent shift fork or worn shift fork pads.
Always looking for SLP/Firehawk parts for 3rdgen birds.
PM me.
