1LE DRIVE SHAFT???

Post by LTX_OUTLAW » Fri Mar 15, 2013 5:45 pm

hey guys I recently got a great deal on a 1LE drive shaft p/n 10085375 for only $75 but the only down fall is that it's missing the transmission slip yoke and both front and rear u-joints. I was looking closely at the shaft and noticed that it was engraved with spicer F2-899 and below that H5020, these marking's are on both ends of the drive shaft. But i was wondering if these were the p/n's i needed for the replacement u-joint's and if not does anyone know the exact p/n and brand i need to make this setup work. And also does anyone have a extra slip yoke they are willing sell for a fair price if so plz contact me at 979-250-3775 thx Henry

You can use a yoke from a steel shaft. I use spicer U-joints that have coated cups to prevent corrosion problems.
Most any parts store can get them. Make sure you have it balanced when done.
Do you have the the 3rdgen or 4thgen aluminum DriveShaft?
Always looking for SLP/Firehawk parts for 3rdgen birds.
PM me.
