Are the Firestone Firehawk Indy Tires any good?
I looked and those are the only Firehawk series tires I saw available?
If not what is a recommended tire? Thanks guys

Street driving, drag racing, road racing? Combination of more than one?

Do you drive in wet weather? Cold weather?

What is your budget?

Been running the Continental Extreme Contact DWS on the wife's GTO. They have done fine for every day driving and have performed well in the rain and even on snow...of coarse with the Traction Control on. Just bought a set of Cooper Zeon RS3-S for the Hawk. They are pretty much a summer only tire with a fairly sticky but short lived (23,000 mile life expectancy). I've ran Cooper tires on many of my work vehicles and have always had good luck and and decent tread life out of them. Firestone.....eh....I've had 2 of those blow out on me on 2 different vehicles and it wasn't because I didn't check them.... :? Check out tirerack.com They have a buyers rating section that could be helpful. :)

I drove last summer on my new set of indy 500 firehawk tires and loved them. I highly recommend them. They are quiet and a very good performing tires all they way around. Actually are pretty grabby/sticky as well. I like curvy rds and spirited driving and im very pleased with them.

I put on a set back in October and I have nothing bad to say about them. Great tire.

Awesome thanks for the responses. I like the price also. I guess I'll give them a try.
