swapping rearends

Post by Nighthawk » Tue Nov 12, 2013 6:56 am

My convertible has the stock 3.23 gears in it. I know someone who has some 3.73's I may be able to convince them to trade with me. They are in a 97 z28. Is there any reason not to just swap out the whole rear ends? Also what would be a fair deal my rear end plus a little to boot is so how much.

I thought that information was in my profile but apparently I am mistaken. Mine is a 1995 Firehawk convertible. Thanks for the chuckle.

edited to add: I couldn't put the info in my profile so I added it to my signature.

The only issue will be if one of you has TCS and the other doesn't.
