ROH Wheel questions

Post by ShawnD » Mon Dec 23, 2013 11:03 pm

I have a set of the ROH ZR6's I picked up a while back, the fronts are 17x8.5 and the rears are 17x9.5, and they have the pop on centers with the ROH logo, anyway I'm gonna run these on my 95 for awhile and was wondering if I should stick with the 275/40/17 on the rear or jump up to the 315? I'm not sure what the back spacing is on the rears, but figured if anyone knew ROH's it would be some you guys, Thanks in advance for any input, I've give myself a headache trying to figure out what size tire to buy!!

You can BUT It's recommended that 315 tires be mounted on 10"-12" wide rims. You can do 285/40/17 tires on 17x9.5's..

I don't know too much about back spacing/ Offset but LS1tech and Tirerack.com has good info: http://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-tires/ ... -read.html

Curious, where did you get different ZR6 wheels?

As Blackhawk stated, a 315 can but really shouldn't be mounted on a rim less than 10" wide.

Belive it or not, I picked up from a guy that had his car for sale on CL, I called him up and told I wasn't interested in his car, but ire ally wanted to buy his wheels, worked 12 hrs that night, drove 3 hrs one way to get them, got home that afternoon, took a shower, went and done another 12..

Did I mention my car is 1200 miles away, my wife repeatedly asks, if I ever look around the house for anything...

And thanks for the info guys, The tires being ballooned out, was my initial concern with the 315, guess I'll just order the 275's.

Are the 17x9.5 wheels modified or are they just not stock Firehawk wheels?

I'm pretty sure they were just aftermarket ROH wheels, they were available up to about 05 I think..
