WS6 airbox fit?

Post by Stringfellow » Mon Apr 21, 2014 6:40 pm

Does putting the lower Ws6 airbox in have any fitment issues with our hoods? Is it even worth the investment for an additional advantage for bolt on guys?

Also, for guys that have, did you cut the bottom out under the filter for more ingestion and/or install an aftermarket ram air system that snakes infront of the radiator? I cant see them being worth much, especially for the price tag?

I would only get a WS6 lower if I were gonna run a JAAM style ram air. Otherwise get a bottom breathing kit like the SSRA or chrs1313.

I did the bottom ws6 air box. I did not cut the bottom as the opening infront is more that sufficient. I dont know if there is a huge benefit over one that has the bottom cut out of it but it sure does look alot cooler when u open the hood! Definitely a better than an uncut stocker

I have it installed too, no mods to make it work, however it does touch ever so slightly on one corner, no major issue.
