I say its still a racing clutch cause its a ram. When you drive those clutches nice they get build up on them and that creates the chatter. Rev the rpms up high and very very slowy engage the clutch to burn off the access build up. That should take car of your problem. No you dont have to engage it all the way and go into a burnout unless you choose to do so and in that case please post a video haha.

I might call B.S. on that only because I have the Ram PowerGrip HD and with as much power my car has there is zero chatter.. BUT! it might work so try it out badassB! & If it works let us know! if not, back to the drawing board

Your sig is a pic of your car at the drag strip....... thats why you dont have that problem. You give her hell sometimes. People who dont....... this is what happens. Performance clutches are made out of different materials.BLACK-HAWK wrote:I might call B.S. on that only because I have the Ram PowerGrip HD and with as much power my car has there is zero chatter.. That picture is 5 years old and since then the clutch has been changed. I drive the car about 2-3 times a weekend with very very little aggressive driving to ensure vehicle life expectancy in hopes it will survive the trip from Calito oOhio and backs trip to this years 20th Annual Firehawk Rally!!! Deadline for dinner tickets and rally registration is ending soon so register if you can & hope to see you there!

Re: car shake when engaging clutch
Some performance clutches will indeed chatter if driven mildly and need to be... "taken for a ride"... for a lack of better words. I looked up the RAM HDX and it appears to be an organic disk which doesn't usually have the chatter problem.
If driving it a bit more doesn't help at all, I would recommend watching out that the clutch disk doesn't fall apart or grenade. Not trying to scare you, but just wanting to put that possibility out there.
