After that I installed the header studs, bolted the manifolds back on with the new CATS and buttoned that all down. During disassembly I found a broken line on the PCV system, so had to replace that as well. Then I replace all the coils. FYI if you buy new GM brakets you have to thread the holes for all the bolts (WTF right?) as they come blank.

Cost:
PCV Lines: $105.00 GM 12590632
Total for this post: $105.00
Total Overall: $2159.00

New PCV lines, they were a ton of fun to put on with the wiring harness still there

And then, put it all back together, fired right up and purring like a kitten. To recap I found a vacuum/oil leak in the PCV, one broken plug wire that was barely making a connection and also all 8 plugs were not only gapped incorrectly from a previous change, but weren't even all the same gap.

That's it for this round, that should hold the exhaust over until I get to the rest of it. Hopefully now I can find time to get back to the control arms and rear suspension. Also if anyone knows where to find a stainless intermediate pipe please LMK, mine won't be salvageable.
