Re: Want more Power....
You should think about a new rear before you add any power. That 10-bolt isn't going to last long with more power, slicks and a 6 speed. Once that's done do some suspension work to get the weight transferred to the rear better and then call a company like Elliotts Portworks or Advanced Induction and talk to them about a cam for your setup.

Re: Want more Power....
I would agree with Scott above. Your biggest problem is passing smog. My current setup passes smog, but probably not as aggressive as you are really looking for. I can put down 500 wrhp with 8psi on a stock bottom end with factory ported heads, and an LT4 hotcam.
Will be pulling this combo out soon for an upgrade, but I don't have to pass smog.
What are your goals?

Re: Want more Power....
Your next issue will be finding someone who can do the tuning. Might consider a 24x conversion to make this much easier to accomplish.

Re: Want more Power....
These two items are not gonna play great together. The overlap on a cam is generally what gives you the choppy idle. Too much overlap will not pass smog as overlap is when both the intake an exhaust valves are open and therefore some unburnt fuel goes straight to the exhaust. Your tuner might be able to play around with the idle speed and timing to try and create a choppier idle if you so desire.tinmidl wrote:...but also have to pass smog.

Cam overlap + blower = not good
Call a cam company and tell them about your combo and they'll give you some advice.
