skip shift

I do not like the skip shift in my 2000 model and would like to disconnect it.
I went to the dealership they told they wouldn't do that
I need help, anyone know how???

or go to the slp website and order a cags eliminator for $30 and plug it in .

Just be careful! The CAG eliminator has to have a resistor inline with the bypass wire to keep it from causing the 'service engine' light from coming on (starting in '96,I believe). My resistor blew out and took the reverse lockout solenoid with it. Imagine my joy at going down the highway at about 80 mph, going for 5th gear and realizing I was about to slam it in reverse. I've decided to live with the skip shift. It hardly ever kicks in anyway.

You guys are forgetting the easiest way to disable it without doing any mods... Just drive it harder (throttle has to be past 35% to disable the skip shift). It sucks in stop and go traffic but is loads of fun on highway on ramps.
