Can you tell me exactly what the \"performance button\" on our 94 Firehawk #365
It is located on the console between the front seats....gives it a little more boost I know.......Thanks so much......

I own '94 firehawk #265, it also has this button. It's not a turbo, blower, nitrous, plasma, warp drive enable button. It merely changes the shifting characteristics of the automatic transmission. It forces the transmission to upshift at a higher RPM. Also, the shifting itself will be done a little quicker/harder than normal. For instance, without the performance button selected, I can bark the tires when shifting from first to second, but not between any other gears. With it selected, I'm able to bark the tires between first and second and between second and third. Hope this answers your question.
