AC controls

Hello,

Does anyone know if the AC unit from a '94 Grand Prix will work on an F-body? The knobs are illuminated unlike the F-body and I thought it would be a nice little modification.
I found one unit but it is a bit different in that it has 2 connectors with all of the wires in them. It is also a closed unit unlike the F-body where if you pull it out, you can see all the wires and stuff.
Could it be converted to work? Other than that, the front plate is identical with the exception of an "AC" button.
