Aluminum Door Sills

Post by ladyhawke » Thu Sep 02, 2004 9:45 pm

Yet another great product from DynoPro!!

CJ has just announced custom Aluminum Door sills with the Firehawk logo. These sills cover the existing plastic door sills using double sided tape.

I have purchased door sills from him for our other car. They are of excellent quality. The double sided tape works great!

I can't wait to get mine! Image

Check out his website: http://www.dynoproauto.com/customsills.htm

They look awesome! I am worried though, since the factory sills have little squares, is there anything to fill the gaps in under the sills, or is stuff going to get stuck under there b/t the factory sill and the add-on?

He has a good intro price on them also......but they do not cover the entire OEM sill if anyone is looking for a replacement. Just an FYI.

I too worried about that in our other car. The factory door sills have numerous grooves but the tape is holding great. And on the Firehawk factory sills, the squares are actually fairly large and the gap will be slight, so the tape should hold nicely and nothing should get between them.

LadyHawke:

You must talk to CJ quite a bit, and thanks for pushing him toward getting those sills. NOW, I hope I can view them in NJ at SLP Race Day if you are planning on going.

I want to see them first, before ordering.

Thanks from the Slower Sussex County Firechicken (Mark)

Hmmm.. I need to see more pics of these. It looks like the "Firehawk" logo looks alittle too "scrunched". Needs to be a little more lengthy.
But it could be the pics. If anyone get's these please post up.

CJ even said those pics don't do them justice, so I want to see them up and close myself.

Yes Mark, they do look AWESOME on the Firehawk! CJ and I have worked together on some projects for our other car (the Marauder). If you check out his website, he gives me credit for the goodies.

I'll post pics sometime this weekend. My husband and I installed them last Saturday but haven't had time to take some good pictures. It's so difficult to get a good picture because they are so shiny.

And yes we do still plan to go to SLP Race Day so you can see them at that time.

Thanks, and yes, he spoke of the Marauder, so that we are on the same page. He said he has sold over 16 of them thus far, so they must be pretty sharp.

I told him I may be back for another purchase, but the overlays, pedals, and some decals I ordered elsewhere have tapped me for a few weeks.

We'll talk later as the date for SLP approaches. Have a great weekend.

I bought a set of plain polished aluminum and put the firehawk emblem and two screaming chickens on both sides in black. Looks sweet just an idea though. It was about 60 bucks cheaper and the black/chrome offset looks sweet.

Here is a link where I got it. I just ordered some black vinyl decals, a firehawk one for the middle then two screaming chickens for the sides. Its looks GREAT, perfect combo.
