hello, along with my previous "mystery oil leak" question here's my dilemma... The USAF sent me to this little town in North Dakota. Grateful yes because if i weren't here i would have my baby. this small town is dominated by them little flucking rice burners and i'm tired of getting beet at the 1/8th mile track that's up here. What can i do that's somewhat inexpensive to make my Hawk kick some ass? it has over 101+k miles on her with regular oil changes and babied. i hope that the mileage won't hurt the motors chances of getting more power out of her...
thank you,
bryan
can i get more power?

Headers, rear end gears, better tires, 1.6 rocker arms, cam, head work. It depends on how much power you are going for. A set of 3.73 gears would be nice if you have an A4, if you have an M6 4.10s would be a better selection IMO.

You're getting beat? Is something wrong with your car?
I assume you're having traction issues. I'd start in on the rear suspension to help get that power to the ground. Pick up some sticky tires as well.
Once you can get it to the ground, start in on the engine. A LT4 Hotcam would be a good, cost effective choice for you.
