Convertible Header install

Post by kane3one6 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 5:38 pm

I just had a set of Pacesetter headers put on my 2000 convertible. I did not buy the brace that is required for the SLP long tubes on a convertible. Does anyone know if I could run into a problem without the brace?

Quessing you HAVE AN AUTOMATIC
I think you do need one (extra bracing)

Yes, it is an automatic. The entire system was welded together as well. The old brace only weights about 7 or 8 lbs. Just can't see how much it can actually help.
