i'm getting pacesetter headers. what i'ld like to do is: headers to 3" Y pipe, no cat, straight back. swap out the stock muffler with SLP's Shotgun race resonator http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=31066 and one 3" tail pipe out the driver side to keep the look'ish of the stock Firehawk. just a though is all

Hella loud!
Might be a little raspy, depending on what other mods you have.

With a 383 and a decent set of heads, I think it will sound awesome.

Ported heads would increase flow, that's correct.
