If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and verified by all daddy ducks with documentation then its pretty safe to say its a duck... Just a duck that's set off to the side and iisn't allowed to be counted during duck, duck, goose! ...quack

A unique duck at that... Possibly a SWAN!

Sorry but if it doesn't have the RPO code WU6 it is NOT a real Firehawk. It's a formula with Firehawk parts added to it. There is no way you can make the claim it's a real Firehawk if it wasn't born a Firehawk....I don't care who added the parts. Period. The last Firehawk was #1501 because it was the last one with the RPO code WU6.

If a non Firehawk can have parts added to it and made a Firehawk what's to keep them from making #1506 or 1507 next week? I have a CETA with less than a 100 miles on it...can I send it to Dave and have him make it a real Firehawk? The last Firehawk and only CETA!!! Wow I would be rich. And yes it's the exact same thing.
If you can convince SLP to convert your TA to a Firehawk AND verify that it is one, it is one. Until then, it wouldn't be the same as the car that this thread is about. If the builder confirms the authenticity, it is one.

Directly from this websites main page:
How to tell if your car is a REAL Firehawk

All Firehawks have a option code:

B4U : 1991-1992
R6V : 1993-1997
WU6 : 1999-2002

This RPO code can be found with the other option codes listed on a sticker in the glove box or the passenger side door jam.
I am just saying.....

You also missed the fact:

* 1997 LT4 Firehawks do not have the R6V code and the only way is to verify them is via the VIN

The Pilot Cars and one off cars like the two 25th Anniversary Firehawk and one SC didn't have RPO codes. The 98's Firehawk proto-types that were turned into 99 promo cars didn't have RPO codes.

I am pretty sure one of the 91-92 didn't have a B4U either.

All were built by SLP, at SLP facilities and are documented cars.

So you are just saying what?

YOUR opinion is they are not true cars?

What he said... And SLP verified the car as a real Hawk so I'm not sure how or why anyone would question it. Not that it really matters what anyone else thinks anyway.

I am not sure how anyone dispute both the documentation and the signatures on the engine authenticating this Firehawk as the last. However, I am confident that a true collector would see that this Firehawk is unique. Have a safe driving season.

IMHO = LOTS OF REAL FIREHAWK (I.E. BUILT BY SLP) do not have the the production codes. But what do I know ;-)

My 1995 Canadian car has an R6Z shipping code for example. I would consider a fake a car built from parts by a dealer. If SLP in Montreal or Toms River built it, I would say it's a Firehawk or Comp T/A for that matter.

I'd buy the last one. Milestone car.

It matters quite a bit what others think when you're trying to sell it. Because the others are the one's who you would want to buy it. If you just want to keep it and enjoy it, then it really doesn't mean a thing what other people think.

If you have a personal and long term relationship with Volo then their appraisal "could" mean something. Most auto appraisals I've seen are very inflated and not worth the money paid to have them done....often 50-200% higher than what a car is really worth. I've watched Volo advertising and selling classic cars since the early 1990's. Their job is to buy and turnover cars any way they can. Their asking prices are usually way up there...just like Duffy's, Golden Classics, RK Charlotte, and other retailers.
