Nice modified Hawk. Sorry your garage picture struck me as funny. I've seen a picture of a Hawk and Camaro on here but that seems dangerous confining a Hawk and Mustang in the same garage, Hawks have sharp talons and Mustangs have a hard time stomping on a Hawk, lol. Nice Terminator

haha thanks! The hawk was too nice of a vehicle to modify, so the Cobra serves that purpose. It is just proving to be a very expensive build and the hawk needs to go to a new home where it can be enjoyed or collected.

Do you know anybody who might be interested?

I really don't know anyone that is looking. It seems to take quite a while selling one for more than $15-18,000 but, people are out there you just have to wait until they find you.

I came across one in Arlington TX not to long ago and before I could get over there to look at it they sold it. I ended up buying a Prius and committing to restore my Firehawk. Isn't working out though, my daughter won't ever let me drive the Prius so my LS7 clutch is sitting in a box in the middle of the garage and I baby the clutch I have with almost 120,000 miles on it. lol.

Good luck with the sale.

Sounds like you need a low mileage automatic Firehawk ;)

If it didn't have the new stereo, tires, all maintenance (including new pesky window motors), I would probably sell it for that. Willing to make a deal though. Hopefully somebody notices the thread.

$19K is still plenty of money for a 20K mile Firehawk or WS6. I think the $20K level is reserved for cars with 10K or less miles, anniversary cars, or convertibles. You can pick up 2001-2002 Z06 Vettes with 400 hp for $20K to $23K with 20K-30K miles. If the economy is starting to slow, then our F Body prices are going to slow as well. The 2011-2015 price rebound/price stability was nice while it lasted. I don't think it continues.

A Z06 doesn't have the same collect-ability as a Hawk. $19k is a steal for this car. Brand new tires, full maint. completed and an incredibly tasteful $2k upgraded sound system. Its tuned properly (326 rwhp/340 rwtq) and needs nothing.

There's no great collectibility for either of them right now....especially in light of the horsepower wars where our 2002 345 hp is becoming V6 land. It's gonna be hard for these to be real collectibles when current performers are in the 412-707 hp range right off the showroom floor. We need another 5-15 years to figure that out though. The 2002 Z06 at 400 hp is far more desirable from the majority of enthusiasts. They understand Vettes and Trans Am WS6. They don't even know what a Firehawk is and it never got the following of the WS6/SS crowd. Considering that high end Firehawks are not bringing all that much more than WS6's, it would appear that most collectors are still leaning towards WS6's, a car with much more aggressive looks and styling....just the way it is. I love the SS, FH, and WS6. But the WS6 gets the bulk of the attention.

Several things reduce the collectiblity of these cars. 22K miles is too many for most higher end collectors. And the more unusual the car, the lower they expect the miles. 22K miles for a GMMG car is "high" mileage....they won't those in the 1K to 5K mile range. And it's probably also the case for a rare formula Firehawk that 22K miles is on the high side. Most are looking for M6's, even if not as rare. Those looking to cruise around in an automatic aren't generally looking to pay over $14K-$17K for a "fun" car. The upgraded suspension and non-stock components also reduce the collectibility of this hawk. Collectors looking towards the future want almost no miles, and no mods. Just the way it is. Most everything else are just different levels of drivers and fun cars. Being "rare" or "rarer" doesn't always equate to bringing more money.

Your opinions are strictly that...opinions. You like trolling the for sale forums and providing "insight" into other people's ads. It's purely anecdotal information and unless you're a buyer or seller, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it if you keep your comments to yourself.

Rule #1... It can and will be enforced if need be... Ya'lls choice.

For a Firehawk Formula , 1 of 47 in that color and condition it is indeed worth that much in my eyes
