Any interest in a resto thread?

Post by NBrehm » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:27 pm

Just Gauaging interest, I'm going to start tearing into my car soon to start restoring the worn out parts and fixing the issues the car came with. I'm not sure how tech saavy the average board member is but I'd be willing to post pics as I go and would answer any questions from the simple and mundane to the over complicated if I can. I know usually there is more interest in Mod threads than resto thread but I'm going to be documenting it all anyway as I go. For reference this is my current "mod" car I've been working on for awhile. Uncle Sam has been keeping me busy as I wanted this one done about 18 months ago, but take a look and let me know if there is interest in doing the same for the Firehawk.

I say yeah. If you document anything like you did on the GTA, it would be an interesting read. Our cars are aging, so it would be cool to see how you go about addressing yours.

OK. I get home in January and will be beginning on some suspension work, so I'll document as much as I can.

Go the 31st, was hoping to get started this weekend but have a bunch of stuff to get done first. Hopefully next weekend I'll at least get rolling on all the front control arms.

Well, it's only gonna get worse, but this isn't a political site.

Not preaching politics of any kind, just giving you the reason the thread isn't progressing.
