Looked at a 2016 SS Camaro convertible....

Post by Mattie » Wed Jul 20, 2016 10:03 pm

Beautiful car. The build quality & tech in the new cars is amazing. Watched a 'how it's made' show the other night. Brand new vehicle front to back for 2016.

LT1 has 445hp, same for torque. 0-60mph in 3.9sec. 12.3sec quarter. Same speed, even faster than the ZL1 Camaro released a couple yrs ago.

Dual mode elec cutout exhaust.(from the factory- how cool is that!) The convertible top is a marvel. Can even activate it when you're moving. Tons of leg room. I'm 6'3" and I could make it so my feet barely reach the pedals.

If you get a chance to look one over at a dealer - you'll be very impressed.

Roush bought SLP Performance Parts, not their vehicle division. SSs are built by GM and Yenkos are built by SVE (formerly SLP).
