Would someone please share their advise / experience with
LED headlights? I have a 2001 Formula / Firehawk and need low and high beam headlights. I am considering lights from either late model lighting or Genesi.

Valve train noise
Hi, I have a 2001 LS1 with 30K on it. Before it was out of warranty, it developed a noise between 100 and 200 deg F on the water gauge. The dealer replaced the driver side lifters and that helped. Then they replaced the belt tensioner and that did the trick. Now the sound is back. All the pulleys ch...

Does anyone know where I can download a video testing the Hawk for 2001? I've seen some Motor Trend videos that were pretty cool

These guys helped me out for 150.00. The top was good with one minor scratch. I had to transfer the lock tumbler so my key would match.

One of my rims cracked 1 year after I bought my 01. The dealer claimed abuse. There was no bend in the rim or damage to the tire. It was a hair line crack causing the tire to go flat. Long story short I tracked down the manufacturer (American I think) The rim was limited production and they didn't h...

They say its not piston slap
It originally sounded like lifters. Last year under warranty, the dealer replaced only 2 on the dirver side. I offer to pay to have them all replaced but thats another story. In addition to the lifters they replaced a belt idler arm. The repair helped, but now its back. When the engine is stone cold...

MAF sensor
Does anyone have a picture of a MAF sensor PN 23062 :?: I thought mine had a SLP emblem on. Now I just see a Delphi emblem. The Delphi emblem looks like it has adhesive on it (where a sticker may have been?). The dealer just replaced my driver side lifters. I am wondering if they put MY MAF sensor b...

How to do a coolant flush?
Can anyone help me drain and bleed my coolant system? I drained the radiator easy enough. I only got a about a 1/2 gallon out. How do I get the rest out and bleed the air when I refill it?

Rim Q
My rim was damaged at a local tire store. They have offered to purchase me a new one or refinish the old one. Its the standard 17" (2001) Hawk rim and I have two questions. 1) Is this a powder coated rim? The guy at the shop said it was. 2) Does anyone still sell this rim? I checked slpeng and ameri...
