John, as an alternative, there are several hatches for sale on Craigslist right now. You could buy one and paint the hatch. Just an idea.

Re: Nostril grills removal
Thanks all, I got the nostril off and the stuff cleaned out. That metal is pretty flimsy and having a part stuck on by double sided is super cheap for such an expensive car. You do realize that a lot of ground effects kits are held on by double-sided tape, right? No, I did not know that. I guess I ...

Nostril grills removal
How can the black plastic grills on the hood nostrils be removed? There is some junk in the cavity behind those grills and I would like to clean back there.

Re: New Memeber 2002 FireHawk #833
Welcome and glad you found us. I had info that car was in Montana at some point. Sound right to you? The car has had several owners and was sold originally from a dealer in Montana. Please PM me if you have additional information on this car. I would like to know more about it's history than what C...

Re: outside temp display on rear view mirror
Go to LS1Tech.com & research it. Yes, it's been done, but not discussed on here as far as I know. That same mirror that you have in the Tahoe, ..., find one on Ebay & install it. For example; http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CIP-36500/ http://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-electronics/1540036-rearview-...

outside temp display on rear view mirror
I did a search and didn't come up with an answer so, please point the direction if this has been discussed before. Has someone installed a rear view mirror that has the interior lights and a outside temp reading? My '99 Tahoe rear view mirror has a compass and outside temp display on it and I am mis...

Replaced all the fluids- oil, brake, rear diff, coolant. Cleaned inside the wheel wells and the wheels, polished and waxed.

Re: New Memeber 2002 FireHawk #833
Thank you for the nice welcome! I see a few 4th gen TA's around the DFW area but not many. This car only has 45K miles on it but this weekend I'm planning to replace all the fluids- Brake, Power steering, Coolant, rear diff., oil and filter ju so I can know where I am starting from. I was also think...

New Memeber 2002 FireHawk #833
I bought this 2002 FireHawk last week and thought I would join this community to get access to the information I'm bound to need. I am well educated about 2nd gen TA's as I've owned a '78 Y88 Trans Am for 4 year and I owned a '78 back in 85-90. I'm going to try to post some pictures but I've not bee...
